This dust never settles quite where you want it to
It falls on the photos and fades them to black and blue
An old man in the corner is listening to echoing music from down the hall
He slowly stands tall and walks past his memories hanging crooked on a wall

Light rays come inside and dance with the dust left in his eyes
The wood floor beneath him, it bends with each step that he takes
His faint but, but it's enough to bring him in
Looks at greying photos
Can't believe that it's really him
