Send me a faith so strong
A well lit path to walk upon
Send me a smile to impart
An unshaken hope in my heart

Your silliness your laughter
Still rings through our ears
And these memories of you
They warm me and calm my fears
I remember...

Long slow walks down to the river
Beautiful sprays of sunsets that made us shiver
You taking my hand to twirl me through the city park
Picking guitars and banging buckets down by the fireside
You pointing out the humor in all of the madness
You showing us laughter through all of the sadness
Your warm loving hands and sweet caring faces
Always on the lookout for new exciting places
Oh the fun things we could think of
