Ravenous hunger, unsatiated needs
A plague of man to consume all things
The earth stripped clean, bare and desolate
Secrets slumbering

Born from the womb of the mountain
In deep secrets of the earth
From soil tilled with metal and rock
A seed from the Old Ones

Raised in the shadows of death
In the loom of euthanized silhouettes

A world forced to surrender too soon
History repeats, an echo in the stone

Footsteps treading on the rocks of forbidden grounds
Widened eyes see things that were never really meant to be seen
Ghostly words they linger here, they're dripping from the dark
Speaking of small tragedies and little loves

And they must know what it is
This yearning they were born with
A connection to know what made them

What led them to be abandoned

The mountain's body remains
