We dragged our souls across plains and oceans
We observed the seasons changing their course and gazed far towards the horizon
Now, humanity bows in silence, and in the sky, flocks of crows take flight

The day will come when we'll find again
The loves and dreams left behind in the wind
Beyond the ridge, maybe, we'll discover the sun
That's why we're still on the road
Among the broken branches the crows take flight
While the fools are laughing again
Heroes, out of time, now drift away
Only a child stays on the field

Maybe you know where the stars hide
In the nooks of the ruined houses
Or among the bluebells still clinging to the walls
Under a low, grey sky
