Like rats in a science maze

Faith is like a sinking ship
The unorganized state of matter
Before distinct form
Boiling through your veins
From beginning to the end
What makes the universe
A mixture of mass and light

Bury your head in the ground
So you'll think you can't be found
Read the knowledge see the truth
Of science over faith
Ignorance of the fads is no reason for your acts
We've had enough we'll take no more
Your destiny is our trap

From the meek to the mighty
All is lost yet all is found
Can't escape the emptiness of forces unknown
Unravelling the mysteries

Running scared from the thought
