Corroded - Monster

Step by step it's closing in,
Inch by inch it will taste your sin.
You and me we will both succumb
This is something that we can't overcome
Word by word it will draw you close,
Lie by lie blown by wings of crows.
Most of us will fall I fear,
When the darkness draws ever so near.
Say is there a way out of this
To believe that there's truth, and lies we all shall
dismiss.
But These are the monsters
The instigators
Fire starters
They walk here among us
Are we the monsters?
The perpetrators
The malignant
That walks here among us
Trust displaced, we ́ll bleed you dry
Lost of faith, replaced by lie
We are the monsters
We are the cancer
Abominations
We walk here among us
Sip by sip from a poisoned cup,
Bit by bit it will tear you up.
It is hard to fight what we don't see

Raised with broken backs down on our knee?
Blow by blow the nails are driven deep into our mind
Our shame, our fears inside our souls confined.
