I close my eyes - the world drops dead
in lucid dreams I've done what lies ahead
I lose myself - my blood freezes in my veins
no pain, no despair – numbness remains
you are a painting burned into my mind
a painting I have to throw upon the pyre
I detest you – I am no longer blind
your screams get lost in a beautiful choir

I torment myself as I mutilate you
I cannot quit – you are still so lovely

everything once was is lost and history
I smell burned flesh and skin
a monument of my deadly sin
you have been a peek in perfection
everything is worthless
I have lost all affection
