Cyaegha - From the Depths

Beneath the Earth so deep breathes iniquities so pure
Under torrential waves dreams a malevolent scourge
While unknown space conceals a deistic omniscience
Two-hundred thousand years perpetuating Man's ignorance
In many a mind, of homo sapiens-centered significance
Proposed by mastery and understanding of environment
Entertained with idea of narrow science, limited philosophy
And sophomoric hopes of benevolent monotheism
These thoughts provide cornerstones to egocentrism
Beliefs spawning pursuit of decadency and neglect
Diminishing efforts invested in discovery and evolution
Comfort now found in stagnation not imagination
A decision of appealing submission
From the depths, dwell beings of growing human disdain
The essence of humanity bears signs of decay
Few are those, who desire a mental stimulation
Yet these passions don't dissipate into the vastness
Choose your suffering
Those chosen are shown dreamscape visions vividly
Freedom manifested in temporary delirium
Unfortunately the mind's brittle nature can't endure
Such revelations without shattering one's reality
