On a bare rock a grown tree
Lives in defiance of everything
In the blossom it’s murmured about vicious spring
In the leaves about merciless winter

The roots pass the life up
Sucked out from the heart of the stones
The branches with the wind try to haggle
To the account of the sad autumn

The trees are the people, only the trees
And they die standing
People are trees, only the people
And they are afraid of the bad forests

The birds paint roads in the sky
The wind disperses them the pictures
Therefore they transfer winged complaints
To the bosom of their tree

And from over there they write the letters to the world
That birds and trees feel unwell
And the rocks along with the sky write with a stone
And they are not surprised at their singing

The birds are the people, only the birds
And they are more clearly in the sky
People are birds, only the people
And they are worried about themselves
