Grabak - Sloth - The Echoes of Babel

Wandering through ruins of shinar
I see the withered strokes of a prior painters brush
A now dust-crafted artwork of a superior (predominant) throne
The ashes promethean fire fueled by human unity

I witnessed the walls of a monolithic heritage
Less a bloodred shrine of archaic artifact
Than a testimonial of blasphemous curiosity
An incarnated chronicle of Cain's destiny

A bastion to seal the absence of ethereal grace
Where his word is just a fading sound
A tower to spit into god's face
Where the echoes of babel shook the ground

A tower erected to sting the eye of (an already blindfolded) god
Built to elevate the bloodline of the one who settled (far) east of eden
But when i was resting in its shadows
A divine desert storm foretold the end of all hope

Coming (furiously) down unto earth (to scatter his seed)

Ungrateful mankind - indulgence still remains scythe of doom
Never again shalt thou unify
