Vassus - Spectres of Death and Decay

I feel the presence, of the dead once more
Its hangs in the air, this fetid miasma
Ghosts of horrors past, still linger in minds unclean
The senseless torment from beasts long gone

Spectres of death and decay
Still live on in the mind

I still see his pallid face, His body at my feet
My sovereign, my king, the guilt consumes me

The Visions of my deeds, haunt me in my sleep
Only in death, shall my mind be free

For my grievous actions ,i will repent
Consume, this poison, Bitter sweet recompense
Drawing, the blood, with blade from my neck
Lastly, falling, in retribution i will know peace
