Vermiform - Beyond the Light

Under the sky we live our days until we finally die
We seek our fate and destiny, but know the end is nigh
These things we want and worlds me make are meaningless you see
Our god is Death and soon he'll come to take both you and me

Through all days
And into night
We seek the truth
Beyond the light

Reaching out to find the truth we know that we all need
What lies beyond our present doom? Where does all of this lead?
There is no god other than Death, religion is a lie
So when it all comes to an end do we just simply die?

When the funeral chant begins to swell
We hold our thoughts and nothing else
What comes of us and our energy?
Will all of us just cease to be?
When the end comes and tolls the bell
We are our thoughts and nothing else
What will our course lead us to see?
Is all of this just another dream?

And when Death's ship I shall embark
I'll see the light beyond the dark
Take hold the flame within my soul
I know the place that I will go
The only truth is here and now
In this place where it allows
Between the worlds of life and death
I call to Chaos with my dying breath

In the end I ask of you to seek the truth you know
Look in yourself and find the path beyond the place Death goes
We can not see what lies ahead, but we choose where to lead
Into the dark and through the light, to Chaos set us free
