For generations we've bit the proverbial dust
Human emotion replaced by material lust
Hypocrisy and damnation have won all the wars
And left us with nothing but anguish and horrible scars
We lurk in the blood and the rust
To hide from those we could never trust
Those who will prey on the meek....
Where were you when time was always on our side?
The closest to freedom that i'll ever be, that we'll never be

Kidnap us in slumber when we cannot put up a fight
Hypocrisy and damnation have given us goals
