Where are you bright futures?
Fading away in the fog and mire
Falling through dead flesh
Through the grey, though pain
Kissed by moonlight and laid to sleep

My kingdom shimmers and dissipates
Laments reaching through night

Nothing remains draped beneath dusk
The world vanishes into deathlike silence

Shadows and fog drift toward me
Rising through the dusk and soils
Cloaking futures that once were seen
Rememberance of the kingdom that was

Fleeting
Evanescent
Fading

Falling into the darkness again
Fighting against the growing silence
The cold burns against my naked flesh
