Acute Mind - Prophecy

The dawn of a new day
Shines through the cloudy sky
Over the river of human dreams
Hangs a blanket of mist.

In cracks of rock
Fiery anger seethes from the depth
Scarlet mantle of fierce waves
Swamps the Earth.

The God’s good face
Changed by false prophets
Becomes a bloody implement of war
In madman’s hands.
On city streets
People live in dread of death
In grey masks over dumb faces
Lack of faith in a new day.

Will the day come when the planets and stars
Will make a sign in the sky
In hundreds of verses this hazy sense
Is there more to it than meets the eye?
The crowd staring at the black of the night
Does time go to the end there?
The fate hammers names on stony boards
There is no way to see it’s hand.

Day after day
Our time passes unobserved
In the mirror of glass-cases
The traces of the past years.
At some future date
Out of touch with reality
Like white spirits floating across the sky
We will go with time.
