Bridge and Tunnel - Location, Location, Location

This town is falling, but the papers say it's "up and coming."
And when it gets here who is left?
Just another college party in the new "cool part of town."
It's time we recognize our part in this displacement.
We're the new problem in the old "bad part of town,"
just the shitheads next door talking about what a great deal we found.
I want to be aware of this community,
not just a fucked up part in this fucked up power-play.
And I can't escape my part in this or the fucked up feeling
that comes with it.
Everybody needs a home.
