Dark Cloud - So Much of Me

Wasting the hours,
letting my mind drift
Too tired to move,
the weight sinking in
Hoping this mental
fog will finally lift
Waiting in vain for
the future to begin

Yet thoughts keep
churning so loud
Inner battles I
can never win
Inside my head
feels like a crowd
Try to escape but
they pull me in

And it's draining
so much of me!
Nothing shines as
bright as it used to be!
Anxiety burning
what's left inside!
Waiting for the
storm to subside!!!

Like blood from
a stone they fall
These endless thoughts
I can't escape
Rose-tinted glasses
color it all
Twisting the past
into a new shape

Stay awake until
the break of dawn
Trapped between
the now and then
Sometimes I wish
the weight was gone
Sometimes I never
want to feel again!

Nothing shines as

into the abyss
Endless nights
feeling like this

I was never here
Wish I could close
my eyes and disappear!!
