Hunger and famine killed kids, aid policies refused
Offences brushed off lightly, abusers were excused
Did we really live in simpler times? Simpler times

Care-free and innocent as kids - Innocent
Rather than there just being more peace
“It never happened in my day”
Any history book, foreshadows today
“Things were so easy way back then”
Death, war, pain, disease
Still existed then
Little has changed, except perhaps your memory
Nobody's sane, just look back through our history
Nostalgia gets us nowhere, moaning is not a cure
Issues will be recycled, same problems as before
