Magnetic North - Junior High

With times changin', people come and they go.
Things will happen in life that'll get you low.
And I know that this is all just a game.
I try to be just the same and I see that ...

I failed out of school today cause
I stayed up till four but that's ok,
I like to live that way. Like a casualty of getting old.
I just lost my job cause I can't do what I am told.

And I might say hey ...

I wish I were in junior high again.
Cutting class and smoking cigarettes.
Time went by before my eyes.
I wish I were in junior high.

When I wake up, my lunch was already made.
There's nothing for me to do but to get good grades.
With times changin', there's more to life than my grades.
The poor decisions I've made led me to this place.

It's lunch time and story time.
I told you I wanted my fruit snacks and some milk and maybe it won't spill.
Your girlfriend, she left you.
Oh well now, what can you do but grow up and get a job and move out and lose out now.

I wish I were in junior high again.
