Damned


My wings no longer bear me up high.
And my halo is more like horns.
I do not remember how long I have wandered this earth.
I have no strength to fight. I can only hate.

I am a pure hate.

Father, warm my black soul with hellish fire.
My hearth is so cold.
There is no life in my eyes.
And I cannot find final rest.

Master! Master!
Why have you done this to me?
Have mercy over my tortured soul.
Master! Master!
Why hast thou forsaken me?
Why do you reject my prayers?

Year after year.

My veins just turn to dust.
And the tears have long since dried up.
My hands are too weak to cut my heart.
Which would only bring me more pain...

I walk through the empty cemetery.
But I cannot find my grave.
When will my time to leave come?
There is only solitude and suffering here.
In my desperation. I curse the heavens.

But there is no one waiting for me there.
