Contemplation of existence
Draped in darkness
Meaning lost in futility
Unwavering solace
Foundation of promises
Blurred perception
Wandering into the night

Hopeless, seek to alter
Consult ways of the wayward
Enter lair of the apothecary
Set forth maze of the sick
Shapeless, lost in enigma
Unleash infinite curses
Downward, sink into oblivion
Corrosion of my will

Despair

Steeped in poison
Ideations flickering
Ceaseless wanting
Unaffected, still endures
Fragments linger
Recollections haunted by guilt
And like clockwork
The hand the offers deliverance

Rise up, sink into mania
Go forth, deep inside the illusion
Blood scorched
Fever, steady fire breathing
Rear back
Act upon the primal urge
Cry out, shrieks of a thousand orgies
Reflect, as you'll always be alone
Transfixed, stare at the abomination
Behold what's become

Disgrace has replaced this body
This notion of a higher self

Meaning lost in the maze of the apothecary
Sent up in a blaze of self-indignation

Exist as the embodiment of discontent
Circle of dependence, sin/repent
Living every waking hour in agony
Overwhelming deprivation, reach for the hand that feeds
