No gold awaiting for the vain

There's no hope in the mantle of creation
No gods real enough to pray
The dreams that flew between the straits of birth
Are now staring at oblivion's sullen face

The vast, artificial illusions
Crowned the world with the blazing jewels of wealth
Brought no cure to the curse of immorality
Filled no void in the emptiness of life…life

But the virtues that went beyond my knowledge
Were reflected in the mirror of your eyes
