Jehosaphat was praying
"Oh God please hear our cry
The Ammonites and the Moabites
Are coming for our lives"
And the prophet said "march out in faith
And you won't have to fight"
And his enemies died by their own swords
And God gave him peace on every side

Moses said to Pharaoh
"You're calling down a curse"
The river Nile ran red with blood
And locusts filled the land
But Pharaoh's heart was hardy
To the Lord's command
And when the Hebrews left that place
Pharaoh chased them down
And the Red Sea waters
Rolled apart for the Israelites
But Pharaoh's mighty army drowned

In the days of Hezekiah
The Assyrians waged war
And Judah was outnumbered
Sennacherib sent down the word
Judah had to bow
"Surrender Hezekiah
Your God can't save you now"
But Sennacherib, he mocked the Lord
So an angel came by night
And a hundred eighty-five thousand Assyrians
Lay dead by dawn's first light
