A blood red star
It shone amidst the clouds
As the sea swelled
The mighty storm tore our sails apart

We set them free
And they flittered away
The fateful birds of the north

Our dragon ship is back
Unbroken through the raging waves...
The open sea is dark and dangerous
Still couldn't stop our hungry hearts

This is our fate
A crack of thunder is the strongest sign
Let us sing at once

I saw an ancient omen
I heard the voice of truth calling my name
We are sworn to the ancient soul of doom metal
Yes we are going under by the righful curse of gods...
But we are prepared to enter the hall
Enter the hall of the great ones

As the symbols revealed in front of me
Two ravens flew in opposite directions
Entangled between them
Was the knot of the slain warrior-kings

Snake-shaped were the arrows
Entwined rings in their midst
Growing strong night by night

I saw an oldest omen
A thousand words of truth screaming my name
I are sworn to the ancient sword of doom metal
As we are going under by the righful curse of the gods
Yes, we are prepared to leave it all behind
And enter the hall of the great ones

Let our bodies become the wind
