living in a remote world
you have no identity
your needs are only
a reflection of masses' desires
you are an artificial material
in the hands of idealists
adapting to the models
which are in force
you lose your identity
you feel safe only when you
behave according to the pattern
which has been known to you
since the youngest years
creatively straying away
from this image
you run the risk of the impertinent
and merciless criticism
identity, you lose your identity
meeting others' expectations
you smother doubts about your
identity 'cause giving up your
individual way of living
you lead up to self-annihilation
although you're a living creature
you're becoming emotionally dead
your mind as well as your personality
are becoming superfluous ballast
you think, feel and live as
in the way you think you should
to think, feel and live
you're ready to incur
even the biggest risk
so as to achieve happiness
which is allegedly yours
but you're afraid
to bear the responsibility
determining your own aims
and moulding your own life
you feel safe only when you
behave according to the pattern
which has been known to you
since the youngest years
and if you are only this
which you should be in the others' eyes
so answer who you are
