Just old men losing time and looking for gold
Razorback mule eating gourds off the vine
It looks so lonely out behind the county line
Wind rattles dry fruit chewed in the night
Next morning mule found laid on his side
Then they'll be walking and what will they do?
Their tools rust as they nibble on the mule
They got no gold for their final days
