Elvis Aaron Presley (ur. 8 stycznia 1935 w Tupelo, Missisipi zm. 16 sierpnia 1977 w Memphis, Tennessee) – piosenkarz i aktor amerykański. Elvis Presley był prekursorem rock and rolla i znaczącą postacią w kulturze masowej XX wieku. Po jego śmierci został pożegnany przez prezydenta USA Jimmiego Cartera słowami: "Jego muzyka, jego osobowość zmieniły oblicze amerykańskiej kultury. Elvis Presley był symbolem buntowniczego ducha naszego narodu"
