Lying on my back watch the branches above my head
Lying on the floor, not enough strength to reach my bed
My leaves have all fallen, they fell without a sound
I'm so low I can't look down

Think I'm slipping under , yes I'm drowning in my thoughts
No more need for my friends, at least the ones that I have got
They'd only disappoint me, they'd try to entertain
like fireworks in the rain

I'd like to be in the sea of tranquillity
Throwing some stones into zero gravity
I won't care how I look there, there's no-one else to find
So far ahead I'm behind

The clouds are separating, a star begins to glow
Or is it just light hitting a crack in my window?
But there's someone who can help me
She's helped me twice before
Came down from a higher floor

Let's try to be quiet, don't let the others wake
Glad that I've got you here, I'm glad for my sake
