Spotting the moon

The call of the canidae
Shatters the silence!

Ripping of flesh
Snapping of bones
Breaking the mind
Lunging backwards
Howling the curse
Lusting for prey
Darting forwards
Embracing the beast
Hunting commence

I’ve lost all control
Feral voices whispering
Telling me to kill!

Hear the paws galloping along the earth
Pouncing through the dark, biting through the flesh
Screams echoing against the maze of trees
Spilling the blood of man to attain the beast

Crushing the neck of the weaker being
Immune to its cries, bloodlust now consumes
Crimson squirting into my face
Embracing this blessing from the lunae

Entering serenity
Becoming one with beast
Always meant to be
