Clawed walls reveal past failed attempts
Forced to assimilate the complex
No return to simplicity
Without losing commodity

Forced to maintain the pace
Harder to see a change
A path designed by conformity

Oversight
To assure
Perfection
A stale state of perception
Loss of perspective
Cleansing our minds leaving a clear
Canvas of life destined for fear
No return from this ignorance
Without facing the consequence

Mankind once lost it's hold
Now has nothing to show
Lifeless footsteps lead the way through

I fall face down

Broken spirits refrain
From courage and hope
Of what's hard to obtain
As the chain pulls
The strain reminds
An objective remains
We can't deviate
From forced directive

Trying to survive
