A Serpent's Hand - Decayed

Corpses come out from their graves
When all the light dims
Rotten to the core
Nothing left of them anymore

Feeding on the fear instilled
From the ground we walk upon
Bodies rotten in a tomb
To haunt us when we're gone

My mind is made up
I will not go back
To the place that's filled with
Graves stones of those who rest

Lying in the ground alone
Resting 6ft down below

Roaming in the afterlife
Wondering around alone
Fear driven and upset
For losing their precious life

Wanting they had
The life they savored
Now stuck in the “happiness”
The place everyone finds peace

There's not a life worth chasing
There ain't a hope worth saving
There's not a thing in this world
That could ever be meant for me

I'm not worth it never was
I was never anything
To any body or any one
All I've ever been is decayed
