There is beauty in the tears
From eyes so cold
And courage in a soul
Weathering the fraud

There is a sparkling
In the eyes refusing lies
Trust in me

Gates open wide
To the fortress of our minds
Still there is truth to find
Under the burden of our lies
Ruthlessly disguised
These rampant thorns still grow
As we rehearse the fall

There is appearance we pretend
A fragile wall that we defend
There is betrayal that we adore
A trace of wisdom we ignore

There is hope in every word
Comforting our souls
And blessing in a vow
To cast away the doubt
There is a power in our breath
To raise the dead
Come with me

Betrayal in a kiss, deceit in the kind
The remnants of malice in an honest advice
The dangerous intensions in doing the right

There is rain for the droughty
A flame for a spark
There’s still intervention, the act of god
There’s purge in the fire
In anguish refined
From ashes of judgement
Tomorrow’s truth will rise

Times of grace will come as we fall
