Rain upon the shoreline
Ensnaring waves around
Blackend shadows mirror warning
I can hear the waters pound

A ship is coming closer
Charged with nothing but despair
Under flag of sorrow sailing
Hear the mission it declares

We trade your lies and greed
We wash your bloodstained hands
The shame of your desires
Introduced to foreign lands

The atonement ship is coming
Cast your load of sins on board
Pray it may run aground
On distant shores it may be found
Spread fear and tragedy
A wrecker’s agony

We’re on our saviour’s mission
We carry all your weight
We don’t ask for commission
Remorse is our forfeit

We bring rage and obsession
We will return one day
The debt of your confession
Your children then will pay

Dim the light and hide your face
Here it may run aground
