Imagine a gun to a Stone Age man
Or an image caught on a video cam
Walk through a village when plague was rife
In a hazmat suit and a promise of life

This is magic as clean as day
Moulded from the cosmos in some unknown way
It's witchcraft, sorcery or alchemy
From the forces we can't touch - to the forces we can see!

But sure enough in time, like the rabbit from a hat
We begin to work it out, we begin to understand
Rational analysis, there's no trickery in here
And now we see the answer - and it is certain, and it's clear
