Eidetic - Does It Get You

A little glint of light
a spark of a flame
It catches the dry and the drained
soon it will grow as it burns

Some try to stop it
and some run away
masses stand passive and stare
the fire destroys to dismay

Nothing it leaves
and no-one it spares
your turn is next to come
don't consider yourself as safe

The fire that burns inside your soul
it will consume your sense
it too will blurry your sight

Decieve to achieve
but why not
blinded by cupidity
sailing dead hollow water

Treacherous your disgust
it's an act
putrefactive decay
it's your own deceit

Soul, sense, sight
what we'll loose
if we don't care
do what seems right

Acta est fabula
it´s the end
now you'll suddenly be
like all always will be
