Full Frontal Assault - Guiding Light

midnight freezing trees withered from green brittle leaves drift through mist into dirt
icy thorns of night prick with thrill skin against cold in writhing concert
my footfalls echo in a shadowy silence on a tread bare path through timbers tall
blindly winding with blackness all around an ethereal voice breathes a dictating call
words they appear as black birds unheard startled from the shadows they burst
feathers fall down from the sky translated into asylum verse
a vocal breeze rustles the reeds I’m consumed by all the answers I seek
no need to see voices guiding me to a pit of nothingness into which I leap
never waking from this plummeting dream suspended in eternity
I want to feel the hopelessness and fear of falling forever
In bottomless pits or the bowels of the seas
under sealed lids of coffins or nightmarish shade trees
where others find fright I’m seeking delight I’m lost in this world darkness as my guiding light
I strive to find the deepest darkest hole I can find a place on earth where I’m the only thing alive
where no creatures crawl or sweat or stink so far down there’s no where to further sink
silent cold and dark, no air to breathe finally what a complete relief
I lost site of the fucking sun it’s shine eclipsed, gratefully
blissful, abysmal black is the only thing I wish I’ll never find such peace in a place like this

Guiding Light

the fucking darkest place is inside our brains where human evil resides
in tongues un dead and ice burn red our rabbles of malicious spite
the impure side of a hateful mind infected critically
suicide or death the only antidote for my disease
darkness works its misery behind a mask of deceit
no drill bit twist of guilt within so sweet and freely I conceive

and so the story goes without misery, cold hearted and insane
while every word I speak is pure scorn I spew just the same

I strive to find the deepest darkest hole I can find
a place on earth where I’m the only thing alive

so far down there’s nowhere to further sink
