We left in late midwinter 2091,
A burning bed our fathers made,
We tried repairing all the damage they had done, But we were just a little late
We built an ark to keep us safe before the flood, Our vengeful planet we escape,
Hands of our children not yet covered in this blood, Hope they don't make the same mistakes
For our home we destroyed,
So we sail onto the void,
For an undiscovered system far from here
If the wind takes our sails,
If we live to tell the tale,
For the end of Mother Earth is drawing near We are conquering the final frontier
Our greed and vanity have brought this final shame We fanned the flames inside our home
Exiled humanity and all of us to blame
We only hope we're not alone
But who can trust us once they learn why we're adrift, If we can't even trust ourselves?
We are but insects, undeserving of their gifts
We all deserve to burn in hell
