Lost Soul - Altar of Death

As I lay on the altar awaiting Death
Hoping the demon will take my last breath
As I lay and reflect upon my past
Wanting each breath to be my last
She comes unto me and begs I not go
She'll fulfill all desires if only I withhold...

So I start to explain
I must end my pain
And offer the demon my soul
Once I have died
I'll serve at his side
To serve him will make my life whole

But I feel her breath on my skin
And realize passion will win
She says, "Only love can make you whole"

I feel her caress
And want to go less and less
And sit at the demons side
Two now join as one
Under the burning sun
And the demon Death doth arise

He watches our lust and sees eyes full of love
And hearing our cries, he decides
That the two are eternally bonded as one

We are lifted from the altar
And begin our journey to the skies
To the realm of the master, Death
We stand at his side, to his rules we abide
And are joined together with Death... Eternally...

So now I explain, we're both rid of the pain
And Death is the master of our souls
Now that we've died, we sit at his side
Serving him has made our lives whole
