Take heed! I've read the signs of terror
The bones show that Orion will rise
In the east while the Scorpion is shinning
Ablazed by the light of the moon

O Morpheus, wing-born god, have you forsaken me?
I pray to thee to help me flee, this evil scenery
Every time I close my eyes she floats into my room
Nocturnal mare that gives me fright, and lures me to my doom

Seven horsemen, a future bleak, a coming holocaust
Premonitions, scary visions, a gateway to the past
Envisions of demonic beasts, and of creatures of the night
When the light is out she comes to me and rides me in the dark

Come night and you will be mine
I rule where dreams are entwined
Your mind is under my spell
Your thoughts I'm taking to hell

She rides though the darkness and into your dreams
At nighttime, the nightmare returns
With tales of the strand and of wondrous things

Step into my parlour, said the spider to the fly
Once caught in her silky web, in trance I'm gonna die
Hidden in the vast unknown. What do shadows hide?
When stars align all fears combine. She pulls me to the other side
