Upon Stone - Where Wild Sorrows Grow

Rise, to a starless world forlorn
Twisted labyrinth where death would guide me
Of broken soul a wraith reborn
In the dreams of the sleeping void awake

On a path to blissful crucifixion
One thousand rivers from my wounds are flowing
To oceans dead with silence deep with pain
What's left of the self but a promise broken

And on the shore
The swollen corpse of faith
Raging storm to cleanse to begin again
A grave fit for a memory
Though my memories are but graves themselves

From the soil grew towers
To watch the world in flame
And of its ashes blooming flowers
Arising

Oh spectral serpent sun
Her unblinded wisdom
To the song of the seasons change
I gave it all away

As swift as aeons passings
So too shall be my end
For that I may sleep

Sang the forest, spoke the waves
