Barque of Dante - The Legend of Gamelyn

Once upon a time in a land of ancient woods
A dying father's will is no good
The oldest of the three don't want to share any of his wealth
The father passed away leaving Gamelyn to live
with his older brother who now is King
But he realizes soon that he's unfairly treated and cannot take any more
A fight breaks out in the village near the castle
Gamelyn engage in a brawl
A game where the winner will receive a ram and ring of gold
Victorious he brings back the prize to the castle
only to be stopped at the gates
His very own brother (Sir!) determined (John!) to have him cast away
Gamelyn is not happy with his brother's ways
Knocks the door down as he storm the castle gates
Feasting for 8 days in the dining hall before Sir John retaliates
Being locked in chains for 2 days
Gamelyn is getting weak and tired what can he do?
A servant in the house named Adam comes to rescue with a masterplan
He helps Gamelyn, tells him that Sir John
lots of churchmen will attend
The plan is plead for release while he is still in chains
Day of the feast comes he cries out in vein
no one even bothers to turn to him
He rips away the chains (No!) A frenzy (More!)
begins as he lay them all down
Into the forest they ride
After escaping Johns pride
Halted by some outlaws
Soon there after joined forces
In the meantime John plans
Becomes Sheriff himself
Making Gamelyn wanted
But now he's the haunted
With inner rage the game's on again
Heading back to settle the score once and for all
But into the cage they throw Gamelyn
Can it be that his brother John wins?

Always running in and out of trouble with the law
Everyday, injustice follow you
as your brother John (The King!) wants you away
