No, I think it's really more like a poem to a beat
Not promoting the life on the streets
So please pardon me for my social consciousness
I guess you all are still socially asleep
Eek, I think I just stepped on some feet

The truth of which I speak is the future of rap
Why to the future if the present is bleak?
Cause I think there's some hope now your interest is piqued
From the words that I spoke so hold on to your seat
All around the globe they look for the solution

If we could use our real voices then we could impress the masses
It'd be fantastic to see true artists working together that's the way that it should be
