Dumah - Failed Resurrection

Amidst a feast of Sacred Flesh
The leviathan awakens from rest
Crawls from the fiery abyss
Bringing forth ungodly chaos
It devours the preachers
And all of their faith in Christ
Pure hatred, burning hot
In the beast's one-thousand eyes

The time arrives to kneel before a black sun
Unholy warriors behold the chosen one

A virgin birthed a bastard child
Prince of all weak and mild
Seas boil thick with blood
Confirming what prophets speak of

Whirlwinds destroy ancient shrines
Lightning strikes the saints down
Earthquakes swallow up crosses
Take them into cursed ground
Locust swarms obscure the sky,
Carrying a new disease
Holy relics let out cries…
From their cracks, begin to bleed

Demons crawl from below
To spread their eternal pain
The angels march forward
To defend Christ from the flames
Faith is gone and they fall
The heavenly guards are mauled
The Son of God left alone
To fight a battle of his own

The beast pounces on Christ
Sinks his teeth into his throat
The holy savior dead
His flock devoured by the goat-
Headed fiends that could not
Forgive the god that damned them to live
Lambs bleeding…the army slain…
Our world is now finally free of his reign.
