One step, two steps
At the bottom of the sea,
It is dark all around me
And it's cold

until a face appears
Out of nowhere, friendly
And with a look
gives me love and support

Now there's a meaning to being here, it doesn't feel as cold anymore
I open up to the rolling of the waves, they want to play
I play back with them, I wasn't born to be a rock, but ..

I was born to roll like the waves
I was born to roll with the waves
Break on the rocks and yet never break
Go up and down with the tides

And where I used to have legs there's a Finn now there instead
I can finally swim at my own pace

And when one day, I see,
a man I like on the sea
I swim
towards his sailboat cautiously

I appear to him,
out of nowhere, timidly
And with a look,
promise infinity ..

If he will be with me,
But can he give it all to the sea,
