I'm stepping cautiously towards the edge
I can hear big waves crashing
against the rocks

They're reminding me, loudly, that I'm alive
and that they're stronger

I'm walking uphill to the lighthouse

into the mist

So that I can guide boats
with it

I go back down and I take off my clothes
I walk on stones that cut deep
into my feet

I'm determined to abandon myself to the Ocean
Which attracts me
irresistibly

It's soothing me gently
It's rocking me softly
till the wind starts blowing strongly
then, it rocks me, harshly ..

Am I willing to take this,
be at its mercy?
It's holding me back when I decide to swim to the shore
With the energy I have left in me
I escape from the Ocean
