It`s the haunting memories
Of a grander history,
maybe we weren`t meant to see
Clues below the dirt
in secretive buildings

It`s a ball and a chain
It`s a little company
It`s a suit in a cage
With a touch of apathy
It`s a shiny brand new way
to Lose your reality
It`s a giant fault-Line
in commonality

I`m beside a mirror of me
that looks the same,
yet have crooked teeth,
A different line, of time it seems
Who scraped through the dirt to survive,
a calamity

It`s a wash, a strip of me,
a different name,
a different scene,
with fangs I`ve never worn before,
the expression had changed,
To one of insanity

It`s the calm, far beneath
Turbulence of rapid seas
Taking breaks, to pause and breathe
When everyone is frantically (...)
Moving on,
Changing pace,
never staying in one place,
for very long,
You don`t have to run this race

It`s ok to stand aside,
let the world pass you by,
things can change on a dime,
you might not prepare in time,
for the speed of consequence to plow into your radiant guise
