Ol Sonuf - The Fires of Walpurgisnacht

In the mountains of old
There's a scene few behold
On the peak of the Brocken
Where the old ways are still extolled...

And Witches are seen at the offering stone
Invoking the Names of powers once known
Reveling in their rites at this most sacred place
With their bare-bodied dancing ever quickening pace

Walpurgis Night is upon us again
And the forces of darkness shall soon be unchained

As the fire burns
A celebration of FLESH!
With desire we YEARN
As two worlds intermesh
And now the figure in black is rising again

As the bonfire shines even brighter still
The chanting grows louder on top of the hill
For these carnal desires we yearn to fulfill
Bringing love, wealth and vengeance to us as we Will

Fire, Air, Earth then Water are called
And now the Great Parchment where our wishes are scrawled
We commit to the flames that shine through the night
Invoking the Names by the bonfire's light

As we dance through the night
We find ourselves standing in the midst of the figure in black
And yet OUR sacrifice comes from WITHIN
For we have no need for the pouring of blood!!!

At last the ritual draws to a close
Through the smoke and the mist
Still the bonfire glows
And so burns the fire in each of our hearts
As we proudly continue to practice our Arts

Try as you might
You have extinguished Nothing!
Our heathen fires... Continue to burn!!!
Yes they Burn!!!!
Burn!!!!!!
