The Crüxshadows - In Gardens

Moments collected…
in iridescent, focused white…
where she moves like she’s dancing, leaving trails of broken light.
getting lost in the dreaming… heartbroken, black and grey,
if tomorrow awakens,
will she remember anything?

And when I look into her eyes I see myself unrecognized, reflections in the winter
of the soul…

And I want to say her name, but she turns and looks away, to wander frozen gardens
of her mind.

feeling forgotten.
Strangers in faceless time,
I’m still searching for reasons
to keep my hope alive.
Casting prayers back to heaven, to find the love inside,
help me pick up the pieces,

I won’t leave it here behind.
