Deponeye - Tick tock

Sometimes, you get it wrong, decisions you should not have made
Especially when it’s going fine don’t rock the boat it leads to pain
Re-thinking, it’s possible that it would always go this way
You try to convince yourself that it could’ve been so different

And the time we had, meant a lot to me
I didn’t think we’d get on like we did
It’s always the way
When the clocks they stopped, don’t know why it hurt
It’s something i was never meant to feel
And now it grinds me

A part of me wishes that i’d never met you on that day
Cos everything would be OK just as it was before you came
But then i get to thinking about acting crazy as we did
Then bitterness and regret dissapear replaced with happiness

What mostly bothers me, we don’t communicate
It didn’t seem a problem for us once
But then the clock stopped
And the time we had, meant a lot to me
It’s just another chapter in my life
It’s so typical…

This always happens to me
Nothing is ever easy
Bad luck it follows me
It’s time it stopped
