Dysphoric - Deathscape

I'm surrounded by negativity
Held down by an unknown power
I don't care if I'm alive or dead
This could well be my last hour
Force myself to smile
But melancholy runs down my skin
Empathy is long gone
Hatred is my next of kin
My perspective is bleak
It's like staring directly into sorrow
Where isolation breeds
The next tomorrow

Blades twitching gnawing my flesh
What a delight to see the blood flow
Wounds tell what can't be told
Self destruction my friend and foe

Foul smell of depression
She left me empty and cold
My garden is full of dead roses
This is here sadness unfolds
Once her voice seemed clear
Now it has fainted with time
Still it lures me into darkness
Into the deathscape of mine
